"I achieved my goal and looked pretty good (even if I do say so myself!) as a bridesmaid."

joJo, Bristol, 31

I was asked to be a bridesmaid for my sister's wedding. I didn't have a huge goal but wanted to feel happy in my dress and having done Special K 2 week kick start in the past thought it might be the way to go. My weakness was skipping breakfast when I was in a rush and snacking on rubbish and the kids leftovers throughout the day.

I think the key was preparation and I made sure I had time for breakfast and had snacks (they say you can eat fruit) in my bag. The evening meal was fine - it was the kind of foods I tended to eat anyway but the big thing for me was reducing the snacking between meals and being more aware of what I ate. At the weekend I swapped around my 3rd meal to lunchtime and ate cereal in the evening.

I achieved my goal and looked pretty good (even if I do say so myself!) as a bridesmaid.
